Nokia’s latest addition to their N series is the shiny new N97. Its running on S60 UI operating system. It has a slide out QWERTY design. It has good features for a social networker. Its equipped with a GPS also.
Some of its features are:

- GPS with A-GPS support, a Digital Compass and geotagging
- 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen, with 16M colors and a 360 x 640 pixel resolution
- 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics
- Pocket office preloaded
- 32GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards
- Stereo FM radio and FM transmitter.
- 3.5mm earphone socket
Nokia has for the first time introduced an EMI payment option, and partnered with HDFC and Citibank to provide a 3 month EMI option at 0% interest rate. Plus, consumers buying N97 will receive an exclusive free data plan for three months for browsing the internet services 24X7. Vodafone also has some new cool offers for people buying N97. Nokia N97 is priced for 36,119 INR.

Nice blog here. I love Nokia phones. I just read that Nokia has officially anounced Nokia C6 and the Nokia X5. Those are both TD-SCDMA handsets which only work in China on TD-SCDMA network. The Nokia X5 will offer you a 5-megapixel camera, dual LED flash and video recording, 2.4-inch QVGA display, access to MM-Ovi Store, mobile video, Fetion IM, Mobile Map/Navigation and it will be available in black, white and red in Q2 2010. Seriously, I prefer buying a new PC to that. I mean the Cookie @ 10k seems a better option after looking at the price.

Yes, and Samsung’s STAR series is also good. They are also aound 10k mark. But many people buy mobiles just to showoff and don’t see that are they going to use those functionalities or not.
