Google has officially announced its all new smartphones, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. Both these smartphones will run on the latest Android Marshmallow and comes with some very good features. So in this article, we will be comparing both the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P so that all your doubts become clear.
Nexus 6P vs Nexus 5X: Compared
As you can expect from any Nexus device, both these devices will also be offering pure Android experience, with the promise to be the first to receive latest Android updates. Talking about the display front, then the Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display at 518 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, while the Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display at 423 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
On the processor front, then the Nexus 6P features a Snapdragon 810 2.0 GHz Octa-core 64-bit CPU, with Adreno 430 GPU, while the Nexus 5X features a Snapdragon 808 processor, 1.8 GHz hexa-core 64-bit CPU along with Adreno 418 GPU.
Both feature a similar rear 12.3-Megapixel camera with 1.55 µm pixels, f/2.0 aperture, laser assisted autofocus, and 4K video recording. However, front camera differs on both, on Nexus 6P, you can find a 8MP camera while on Nexus 5X, there’s a 5MP camera.
One notable feature on both the phones is the fingerprint sensor called “Nexus Imprint”, located at the back of the device which lets you quickly unlock your device, and also can be used to purchase apps from the Play Store. Both feature a USB Type C port, with a reversible design that has become a new standard for mobile devices. Also they feature fast charging, which promises to charge your phone much faster. Both the phones do not offer any microSD card slot, so if you want a large storage, then choose at least a 32GB model.

Both are already up for pre-order in selected countries. The pricing of Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, in India, as per the leaks are Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 31,900 (16GB) respectively. Of both, the Nexus 6P is of course more powerful with high end specs, all metallic build, high resolution display and higher storage option. But in the end, it all depends on your needs and not on how much you can spend on a new device.
