Let’s start from the beginning. 3G, it means third generation. 3G is a standard which is set by International Telecommunication Union for mobile phones and mobile telecommunication service providers.
In India, BSNL has launched this 3G service in some states but now Tata Docomo is going to launch 3G services on November 5th, 2010. Tata Docomo is the first private company which will be launching this 3G services in India.
So currently this 3G service will be available in following states:
- Rajasthan
- UP (West)
- Gujarat
- Maharashtra except Mumbai
- Haryana
- Punjab
- Kerala
- Karnataka
- Madhya Pradesh
So now lets study the advantages of 3G and why its worth it !
Need for speed:
Humans always craved for Need for Speed. Whether its your broadband, or while driving, you must have always felt the need for more speed. 3G will be much faster than 2G. 3G is specially suited for the impatient ones, and humans are always that !
Faster Browsing:
Now you can surf three times faster compared to dial up modem connection. Now you won’t have to wait for the endless time and wait for loading that webpage. 3G changes it all. Whenever you feel that you need information about something, just open your browser and hit google.com and information is at your fingertips.
Streaming music:
Forget that buffering era and go ahead and listen to live streaming music. Whenever you feel that your playlist is old and want to listen to some new songs, go ahead and listen to that song, live on the web. Music streaming, it rocks.
Streaming music videos:
