Facebook has introduced a very useful feature ‘Year in Review’ that generates a very cool infographic featuring the top 20 biggest stories from 2012 from your life and your friends lives. These 20 stories are fun to look at, it brings out the happy memories from the year.

The Facebook’s Year in Review (direct link) brings out pictures, events, posts and popular stories from 2012. The top portion displays shifting mosaic of photos from 2012, taken from your profile photos and tagged photos. Below that you can see 20 biggest stories/moments that Facebook automatically determines. All this works great for seeing your own Year in Review but what if you want to view your best friends Year in Review? Fortunately this can be done easily and it doesn’t involves any rocket science.
All you need to do is to simply add the Facebook username of the person to the normal Year in Review URL which is https://www.facebook.com/yearinreview. For example, if you want to view the Year in Review infographics of Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, then you just need to type this: https://www.facebook.com/yearinreview/zuck into the address bar and hit Enter (Zuck being the username). You must know the username of the person in order to make this work.
This can also be done even if you are not a friend of that person. This method will work for just anyone, provided that information is posted publicly. And if that person has added you as friend, then there’s no problem in viewing his/her biggest moments of 2012.
For now, this feature only works for personal profiles and won’t work on Pages. With this method, you can stalk your friend but you can’t stalk your favorite brand, let’s say McDonalds, Coca Cola, etc.
As an ending note, remember that whatever you post on Facebook has its own privacy settings. Make sure that you are always comfortable with the information that you are sharing with others. You won’t like a stranger stalking you and viewing information about your personal life.
