Who doesn’t like social networking in today’s era. Facebook no doubt is the king of social networking and it is no doubt the number one site for staying in touch with friends and family. That’s the best, easiest and convenient way in this internet era.
Facebook has also evolved since its inception. They kept on improving it and adding new and new functionalities. The latest feature is the new facebook message. It is also called as facebook Email. With the help of this, you don’t even need to open your Gmail or Yahoo mail address, as now you can send and receive Emails in facebook itself. How about getting an Email address like yourname@facebook.com. Exciting. Yes you can get facebook Email address and we really think that people will love to have such an Email ID and they can send and receive Emails from facebook itself.
Firstly this service is not available for everyone but they are slowly rolling out this service to persons who have an invitation. Yes you can also request for an invitation to the all new messages from here. Just login to your account and click on Request an Invitation. You will get a message as “You will receive an invite soon”.
After some time, you will be able to see a new notification as “Checkout New Facebook Message”. Now go to Messages and you will see this:
Just click on Activate Email. You will get second message as “You’re ready to use email@facebook.com”. Click Next.
In the next step, you can turn on text messages, or just skip this step by clicking on “Skip”.
That’s done. Now you can try experimenting by sending and receiving Emails to your new facebook Email address. Go ahead and give your friends this new Email address.
Whenever they send you an Email, you can see it in Messages and you can also send an Email to any Email address in the World. Just go to Messages and click on “New Message“. And that’s all you have to do to send an Email. Yes, you don’t even have to type the Subject. Just enter the Email address and your message and click on “Send”. They have rightly tried to make it as simple as it can.
