When reading a web page, you may want to highlight a particular section or a sentence of the story and after highlighting you may also want to share that web page with your friend. A long story on a news website or on Wikipedia can get boring and that’s why its important to highlight and annotate the section which you think that might interest your friend. So what’s the easiest method to highlight and annotate a web page?

Mark and Annotate Web Pages

One such useful tool is the Awesome Highlighter. Using this tool is a piece of cake. Visit the website, enter the URL of the page that you want to highlight and then click on “Highlight page”.

Next, you’ll see that the web page has opened and your mouse pointer has changed to yellow highlighter pen. Click on the area which you want to highlight and drag the pen across the text.

You can also click on the “add a note” button from the top right side and add a note for your friend, so that he/she can better understand the highlighted area. The note is sticky and remains at the same place where you have created it and you can also move the note as per your wish. When you’re finished highlighted and annotating the web page, click on the big “done” button.
