March 23, 2012 by Saqib 1 Comment

YouTube is the most popular video sharing service and popular destinations to pass time. There are many people who can spend hours watching videos. While watching the videos, you may have come across some videos that are not of good quality – they are shaky and dark. Last year YouTube has already added a feature of editing videos after uploading, known as YouTube Video Editor. But now YouTube has added a new feature that will automatically fix dark and shaky videos. It offers option to color correct and stabilise to improve video quality.

Fix Dark and Shaky Videos on YouTube

This new feature works great. Once you’ve uploaded a video that needs improvement, you’ll be able to see a notification bar on the upload page and also in Video Manager. From here you can click on fix, to fix those issues. YouTube will present you with side-by-side preview of the original video and the new fixed (improved) video. Click on “Okay” to update the video with new edited version.

If the video is uploaded from a mobile device, when accessing the Video Manager on the desktop, it will notify you that the video quality can be improved. This means the issues can be fixed later also.

This really seems a good addition to YouTube for those who don’t want to do advanced video editing. Not everybody needs video editing programs, as the the user may not be that tech savvy. Therefore with this simple one-click option can fix those dark and shaky videos improving your uploaded videos quality. (Via)
