Download a file from the web is very simple and anyone can do it. But when we talk about downloading a BitTorrent, then first timers can scratch their head and they might think that this process is complicated, but in reality, that’s not true. The process is really very simple with programs like uTorrent which helps in downloading contents of torrent and best of all, uTorrent is very straight-forward, easy, lightweight and a freeware.

Basically, you just need two things – a torrent file and BitTorrent client (like uTorrent). But if you’ve just switched machine, or for any reason you are not able to run a BitTorrent client, then here’s a solution for Google Chrome users.

Here comes a Chrome extension called OneClick, which is developed by BitTorrent’s Torque Labs. After installing this extension, you can just click on a torrent and it will download the files, right within Chrome browser. With OneClick extension, there’s no need for using any torrent client.

When installing this extension, you’ll get a prompt that says “It can access all data on your computer and the websites that you visit.” Some people won’t be comfortable in granting these permissions to this extension, but that’s what we’ll have to bear with, if we want to use this extension.
