It’s very much essential to take a backup of the browser that you are using, as you never know that when your browser installation might get corrupt or when a virus threat wipes out your browser profile. Of course you can navigate to the profile folder and take a manual backup but those who don’t want to use this manual task, then here’s a freeware tool that let’s you create a full backup of Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Chromium web browsers.

Step1:
This tool has easy to follow wizard like interface. After installing, select the browser that you want to backup. For this, click on the name of the browser from the top right and then click on “Create Backup”.
Select where you want to save this backup to: this machine (which means your local machine) or cloud-server. Click on “In this machine”.
Step2:
Select the profile that you wish to backup. In most cases, it will be the “Default” one, or you can also click on the drop-down box and select the correct profile.
Step3:
Next, select what you want to backup. With this tool, you can backup your settings, bookmarks, history, cookies, extensions, passwords, preferences and other settings. You can leave the default check marks as it is and then click on “Next”.
Step4:
Finally, you need to select the path to save this backup. When done, click on “Finish”.

This tool will create a browser backup in a (.bbf) file. Save this file in a safe location, as you’ll need it to restore the backup when required.
