Keyboard is always a fast way to complete the task, compared to mouse where we have to first search the pointer and then move it to the correct position and then shoot. Many people are so comfortable with keyboard shortcuts that they don’t want to use the mouse to do a variety of tasks.
What if your mouse suddenly stops working and you have to browse the web to complete some important work? Yes, it is it possible to surf the internet without using the mouse, thanks to a Chrome extension named as DeadMouse.
Open Links and Surf The Web With Keyboard
After installing DeadMouse extension, you can start using it right away. The best part is that there’s no need to do any configuration after installing to make it work.
To open links from the web page, simply start typing any letters from that link. The link will now start wobbling (it will start to shake). If that’s the link that you want to open, then simply press the “Enter” key. To open the same link in a new tab, then press “Ctrl+Enter”. Sometimes the same text is found in multiple links, in such a case, press the “Tab” key to select the next option.
When wobbling starts and if you don’t want to open that link, then press the “Esc” key to reset it.
This extension really makes the task to surf the web and open links easily. All you need to do is to just start typing the text of that link and then press Enter to open it.
If your mouse stops working or if you like to work with Keyboard more than mouse, then this is the extension for you.
Google Chrome users can install this useful extension from the Chrome Web Store.
