Automate Tasks on Google Drive With Wappwolf Automator

Wappwolf Automator for Dropbox is already very popular. Basically it allows to create rules and actions for particular folders. The files that are placed on those particular folders are processed with those rules. Yes, it does this automatically once configured.

Wappwolf have now taken a step further by launching a new product which works with Google Drive (also known as GDrive). According to Wappwolf, the new automator has the same functionality as the automator for Dropbox.

This new automator can do variety of things like process a folder named as “PDF” and then convert all files on that folder to PDF. Everytime you put a file in a particular folder, GDrive Automator can upload files to Facebook, Flickr, Google+ and do much more. Many such tasks can be done and the best part is that its free and too easy to use.

How Wappwolf Automator for Google Drive Works

Head over to the site and click on the big red Try Now button.

Login using your Google Drive details and then authorize app.wappwolf.com to access your Google account. To do this, click on Grant Access. Select a folder which you wish should be used to process files.

Next, select the action that you want to perform. For example, let’s say you want this action – everytime you put a file in so and so folder, that file should be automatically converted to PDF. To perform this action, click on “Convert it to PDF” from “Documents” section and then click on Add Action.

If you want to perform another action, then click on “Add another action” or click on finished to finish this process.

Now you will be able to see your created action. In our example this process – Everytime you put a file in the folder Wappwolf, convert it to PDF and upload it to Google Docs. Don’t worry as Google Docs here means Google Drive.

Thus we can say that creating an automation process with Wappwolf Automator is very easy. The process to do this is really straightforward and divided in different steps. User can stop or delete the automated process at any time.
