In past, Box has been offering 50GB of free storage to particular handset manufacturers. Other Android users had to settle for what Box offers to the masses which is 5GB of regular space. But now here’s a good news for all Android users. Now anyone who downloads and install the application can get 50GB of free cloud storage, for the entire life of user’s account. With the latest update, Box have also added some new features like inviting others to collaborate, adding comments to files, improved uploader, support for Ice Cream Sandwich, more language support, etc.

How to Get 50GB of Storage from Box

If you’re new to Box, then you’ll need to download the app from your device and sign up for a free Box account. After the sign up is complete, log into your account from the device. Your upgrade should be complete and you’ll see a confirmation message.

And if you’re already an existing Box user, then you just need to sign into your account on your device and the upgrade should be complete.

So basically, all you need to do is to install this application on your Android device, and sign-in or sign-up. Your account will be automatically upgraded and a whopping 50GB will be added to your account. Now that’s really cool and the best part is that your account will never be downgraded and the space is yours for the life of the account.

File upload limit is 100MB. If your file is more than 100MB then you won’t be able to upload the file.

Note: This promotion is only for free Box Personal accounts; if you are a Box Business, Enterprise or paid Personal customer you do not qualify for this promotion.
