Its true that we can always use the handy Print Screen key and then open a program like Paint and paste the image there. Capture the whole page or any portion, annotate it with rectangles, circles, arrows, lines and text, blur sensitive info, one-click upload to share. It has many features that you won’t be able to find in many addons. Capture screenshots, annotate it with rectangles, circles, arrows, lines and text, use eraser and upload online or just download it locally.
Fireshot
Fireshot helps you to capture screenshots,annotate and then upload to Facebook, Picasa, Flickr or download it locally. The captured area also gets copied to clipboard, so that you can directly paste it in any image editing program like Paint, Photoshop, GIMP, etc. The Pro edition of FireShot has more features than the free version.

This add-on adds a small screenshot capture button to the top right of your browser. There are several options for capture, including uploading the visible area of the browser only or uploading the entire web page. Screenshots are uploaded to the free screenshot hosting website UploadScreenshot.com.
LightShot
LightShot is a tool allowing you to easily make screenshots of any selected area in a browser tab. You just hit Lightshot icon on the toolbar or status bar, then select area you want to make a screenshot from and click “Save” or “Upload to server”. If uploaded, you can instantly get link to a screenshot you’ve just uploaded. It is also possible to resize and move selection area right in a browser tab without opening any additional applications. Annotations – adding text, drawing lines is also possible.
Try out any of this tool and you will find that there is no need for print screen button anymore. Plus some of these addons will allow you to upload the captured image to free image hosting site, so that you don’t have to upload the image manually.

Tech Tip: Press Ctrl+Shift+A to open Add-ons manager. From there, you can add, remove and also update your addons.
