What if you are using Samsung Kies v1.5 and want to update to the latest version, which is v2? Normal procedure to do this would be to start kies and then it will prompt you with an option to update to the latest version (if you are connected to the internet). But let’s say you are facing problem in this auto-update feature and want to download Samsung Kies manually and then install the latest version.
Before installing the new version, its a better idea to remove the old version. To remove old version, try uninstalling Kies from Start menu > All Programs > Samsung > Kies > Uninstall Kies
If this method fails, then here is an uninstall utility to remove/uninstall Samsung kies from your system. Download the uninstaller from below link and then unzip it. Now all you need to do is to just run this executable file. Please note that it won’t give you any prompt or ask for confirmation, as it runs in MS DOS mode. Therefore run this file only if you really want to remove Kies.
