cydia The good thing about jailbreaking is that it opens you to the world of amazing tweaks and apps that gets you the most out of your iDevice. Those who have switched from Android to iPhone or iPad will miss the Android-type notification which slides down from the top. If you have jailbroken your iOS device, then here is a very useful tweak named as SBSettings that’s a life saver.

SBSettings allows you to turn ON/OFF Bluetooth, WiFi and many other settings in seconds. Basically, it adds a menu to the notifications in iOS and it can be drop-down from the top. Even from open apps, you can always swipe the status bar to bring down the main window. It brings to us, many useful shortcuts and integrates directly to the notification center so that it can be always easily accessible.

Firstly, install SBSettings from Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Once installed, you can see its shortcut in the home screen. But before accessing SBSettings, go to settings > Notifications > SBSettings and toggle it to ON. This step is required to enable the functionality of SBSettings.

Once this setting is done, its time to try out SBSettings. Simply slide the status bar to open various options and see the magic of this app.

There are also options available to respring, refresh and reboot. In short, these options are most frequently used and instead of following the long way to do a task, this is really a shortcut. For example, normally you would turn ON Bluetooth from Settings > General > Bluetooth, you can just slide out this menu from the top and tap on Bluetooth to toggle it to ON and OFF. Same goes for WiFi, instead of going to Settings > WiFi, you can just toggle ON WiFi from this menu.
