2.4 GHz Wireless:
MK 250 has got Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless which gives you freedom from cord and connectivity never drops out. As per the testing, no connection issues are faced and it did not get disconnected any time.
Battery life:
As per Logitech, this combo can work for 6 months non stop with moderate use and then you have to change the battery. It has got automatic power saving feature, that means if the PC is off, then no power will be used. It will auto the start of the Computer and will become ON. keyboard and mouse also has power ON/OFF switch, but that doesn’t mean that you keep on using this. If you are going on a long vacation then you can simply switch OFF it.
How Logitech MK 250 Works:
A small receiver comes with the packing. It looks like a Flash drive. Just plug this into a USB port on the Computer. Also ensure that you ON the switch of Mouse and Keyboard. If this is the first time, then it will automatically install the drivers and will start working as soon as that process is finished. This combo is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

3-year warranty is provided. Also it has got some functions keys. A FN key is provided. So if you want to start Calculator, then you will need to press FN + F12. This will start the calculator. This one has really a space saving keyboard. It’s smaller than the traditional keyboards but includes full fledged keys. The keys are also really comfortable and easy to use. Yes, even the number pad is provided. But the mouse feels a little bulky. As this is wireless, people expect the mouse to be somewhat small and not this bulky.
This combo is priced at around Rs 1350 (USD 30) which is really affordable. Gone are the days when they used to cost much, but now its very affordable and worth spending every penny. Plus, the wireless, stylish look.

I don’t think drivers are required to run this Combo on linux. When I tried Ubuntu, I didn’t felt the need to install any drivers.

If you want to start the calculator, you press FN + F12 not F2.
