Autorun viruses are very intelligent. They can come from internet, pen drive, emails. etc. Mostly they come from pendrives. They come when you double click your pendrive having this virus. They need just one execution and your computer is a hell.
So follow these steps to remove this virus:
1) Press Windows logo key+R. Or Start > Run.
2)Type “cmd” there.
3)Now in the command prompt type
“del /f /q /a s r h autorun.inf”. That’s it.
But prevention is better than cure. Isn’t it. Do periodic scanning of your drives with a good antivirus like Avast, Kaspersky, AVG, etc. After inserting your flash drive, it is better to first scan it with a antivirus and then use it.
