You won’t need to configure date and time. But for weather forecast, you’ll need to enter the current location by right clicking on the gadget. There are also additional advanced options for widget settings, set this widget on top (widget defines this term as top most), pin to a particular position on the desktop, change the size of the widget, change opacity and settings for Metro Home. Opacity settings are really useful for those who want to set opacity of Metro Home widget.

Temperature unit can be changed, a user can select Fahrenheit or Celsius. The time format helps in changing time format (useful for viewing time in the widget) from 12 Hour or 24 Hour format. Those who don’t need picture slideshow can uncheck the slideshow option from here.
