As you may be knowing that there are many file sharing sites out there, some are vastly popular and some new sites are just starting out. In this article, we’ll be taking a look at some of the best free file sharing site with no waiting time, after all, we all hate to wait.

Why do people use file sharing sites ?
Its simple. Because they want to download files which they want. This is how piracy has started and in fact this has also increased piracy. Pirates use these sites and upload softwares with the help of these sites, and then other people who require that software, just download it, free of charge. Many companies are suffering massive loss for this reason. Even when reported, these file sharing sites take much time to delete a file.

Its really strange, or ironic, that how rapidshare shows this tagline – The Anti waiting company. When infact, if you are a free user and download a file, then you will first need to click on Slow Download and then wait for 30 seconds to start the download process. Some people have dumped this site because of the waiting issue.

So now coming back to the point. Which is the best file sharing site? This is really a hard question, as there are many file sharing sites out there. We will take a look at two sites here, which stand apart. And the best part is, that anyone who downloads file will not need to wait.

What makes Dropbox stand apart is its unique file syncing functionality. There are two ways to share files with dropbox. Either from its website or either from your PC from Dropbox folder. Its just a small nifty software that you need to install, enter your username and password (or create a new one) and you’re good to go.

To upload a particular file, just copy and paste that file to that particular location. Now you may be wondering thats great, but how can I get the download link ? Just right click that file and go to Dropbox and click on Copy Public Link. Just give this link to your friend or post it online and anyone will be able to download that file. Easy peasy, right. If you don’t want to install this, then you can even go to the official site, login and upload the file directly, no installation is required.

MediaFire

Their tagline says – Free file hosting made simple. That’s so true. You can just upload files directly, without even making an account and then get the link from there or share it on twitter, facebook, etc. but yes, its always recommended to create an account, to keep a track of all your files, and manage them. Plus you can go to My Account and get to know about how many times your files are downloaded, how many bandwidth is served and total storage space used. These statistics will really help you to know how good you are doing.

As you can see in this screenshot, managing and uploading files is very easy. Just click on Upload to upload files, or create a new folder to further manage your files and folders. You will need to firstly create a new folder and then upload files in it, according to MediaFire, this is for security reasons.

After this, you can go to My Files click on Folder name and then on Share. From here you can get the download link. Now you can just share it anywhere, with friends, colleagues or even post it on your Blog/website. Advantage of using MediaFire instead of uploading the file to your own server (webhost) is that it will save your bandwidth and space.

Now comes the amazing part. MediaFire allows you to upload unlimited files, and gives you unlimited storage space. Yes, you read it right. Everything is unlimited, from storage space, to bandwidth, you’re not limited here, like other file sharing sites.
