While browsing the web, you like an image, and want to open that image in Photoshop. So now which steps you will perform ? Take a screenshot, and then open Photoshop and crop that image, or right click that image, and click on Copy Image. Now just directly paste it in Photoshop. These steps are just ok to do some occasional work, but what if there is a faster way, to open web image directly in Photoshop. Thanks to Firefox, now this is possible.
Firefox has really nice collection of useful addons. Open with Photoshop is a Firefox addon, and as the name suggests, this addon can open any image in Photoshop. If you’re not using this amazing browser, then you can download Firefox from here.
How to Install and Use Open with Photoshop addon
Installing is simple, just like any other addon. Head over to its official page and click on Add to Firefox.
A prompt will be displayed with a countdown and it will ask to Install the addon. Click on Install and then restart Firefox.
That’s done. This addon is installed. Now whenever you right click on any image, there would be an option to Open in Photoshop. Just click on this option.
This would greatly reduce the time to manually take a screenshot, then paste it in Photoshop and then crop it. Designers will find this addon really useful.
Note: Images on the website may be copyright protected. You cannot use every image for this purpose.
