Piriform has released CCleaner for Mac operating system. CCleaner is a freeware application to remove the junk files, and files which are no longer required, and this helps in freeing up the valuable space. It doesn’t take much time in finding out the junk files, and the best part is that its a freeware.
Till now CCleaner was only available for Windows OS, but they have taken a good step to bring it on Mac platform also.
CCleaner for Mac helps in cleaning out:
Safari: Cleans and removes Temporary files, cookies, history, download history, form history
Firefox cleaning: Remove temporary files, cookies, history.
Cleaning Trash, Recent Files and Servers.
Cleaning Temporary Folder
Recent Documents
Recent Applications
Please note that this is just a Beta version and it may have some bugs. Its recommended to use this only if you are an advanced user. The final release should be out soon.
